Americom Helps Dreams Come True for Dixie Tech

March 28, 2018

Dixie Technical College, St. George, UT

Dixie Technical College permanent campus ribbon cutting ceremony symbolized that a new chapter has begun for technology, growth, and education in Southern Utah. The event was most-appropriately held on a beautiful Spring day in its new state-of-the-art auditorium.

Derek Whitehead, Acting President of Dixie Technical College, welcomed community leaders, college officials, and construction partners as they gathered to celebrate and tour the stunning new campus.

Several speakers aligned their remarks within the theme of “A Million Dreams” from the recent musical movie “The Greatest Showman”. The memorable rendition was performed by a cast from the St. George Musical Theater. Jon Pike, Mayor of St. George and Stephen Wade, USTC Board of Trustee/Benefactor both were overwhelmed with emotion as they shared the challenges and obstacles that had been overcome to complete this monumental project.

Numerous vendors, suppliers and contractors were commended for their extraordinary efforts. Additionally, the St. George community itself was highly praised for making this dream come to fruition.

Americom Technology, Inc. is proud to have been a crucial partner in the information technology construction of this project. “Americom brought a level of expertise that kept the project on a very tight schedule while never compromising quality” said Adam Petty, Project Manager.
