Americom Technology, Inc., formally known as United Cable Telephone Inc., was founded in 1981 as a partnership between Ronald J. Richter and Patrick W. Birkel, but has since taken on a third owner, Patrick J. Richter. The company formed to provide single source telecommunication construction and installation for companies like University of Utah, the State of Utah, the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Verizon Wireless, and Wells Fargo Bank. With just over 60 proficient employees we have steadily grown to become a $15 million company.
Our founding principle is to provide turnkey design, integration, certification, and support for information transport system solutions comprised of structured cabling, IP Telephony, telephone and voice mail networking as well as wireless and physical pathway solutions for today’s needs and those well into the future. This principle is reflected in our unrivalled reputation for quality work, performed on time and at competitive prices.
Americom Technology, Inc. is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Although our focus market area is Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada, Americom Technology has created project value for both public and private clients across the country.
